First day of the new sun!

  TattooMike here, reporting to you from the Brown Leafe Ranch. Today was the first day of the new sun, and it was truly a beautiful sight to see. The snow in the Sprague River area is finally starting to melt, and I couldn't be more excited for the arrival of spring. I've been spending a lot of time in our 1000-foot log house on a few acres , taking care of our chickens, geese, and turkeys, as well as our dogs and cats. We're also lucky enough to have an underground greenhouse where we can grow fresh produce year-round. Speaking of produce, I've been busy starting some of our vegetable seeds. It's always a thrill to see those little sprouts start to emerge from the soil, and I can't wait to see them grow into healthy, delicious vegetables. We've got everything from tomatoes to peppers to cucumbers and squash on the horizon. Living off the grid can be challenging at times, but it's also incredibly rewarding.   Good morning everyone! Today I wanted to start off with a quote I find particularly inspiring: "The impediment to action advances action. What stands in the way becomes the way." - Marcus Aurelius. It's a great reminder to stay positive and focused, even in the face of obstacles. Speaking of obstacles, we've been dealing with some heavy snow melt lately. But rather than get frustrated, we took action and made some canals to direct the water where we want it to go. It's a satisfying feeling to see the water flow where we need it to, and it helps prevent any damage to our property. Looking ahead to tomorrow, I'm excited to get the laser out and work on some new projects. It's always fun to create something new and watch it come to life.
